It’s here, it’s here, it’s finally here! The full Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 trailer has finally been released. It premiered on Jimmy Kimmel and hit the Internet only moments after. We’ve gotten two amazing teaser trailers already (which you can watch right here and right here), but what’s been released now is the full trailer. And it’s about time, considering that the movie comes out May 5.
The first Guardians movie was so good, Vol 2 will have big shoes to fill, but these clips and trailers seem to prove that this upcoming movie will be just as great! Give this new trailer a watch:

Baby Groot and his adorable face never fails to delight me, and Marvel has been very kind about showing a lot of him in their trailers.
This trailer has all the characters, including Nebula, Yondu and newcomer Mantis (I guess they’re now considered Guardians, too?), as well as that sick space squid.
And can we talk about that gigantic gun Gamora was using? I can’t wait to see more of that in use!
But what I like most about this trailer — aside from all the action and bright colours and funky music — is that it finally is showing some plot! We have that gold lady who it seems is commissioning the Guardians to do more heroic work, and we finally meet Peter’s father, who was presumed dead, and I can’t decide which part I’m more excited for!
And because Marvel really loves us, producer James Gunn also shared a stunning new poster for the movie:
