New Jersey Governor Chris Christie made an appearance to hand off the Super Bowl to Arizona–the next state to host the games–this Saturday in a Times Square ceremony. He received a fairly negative reception from the crowd due to his proven knowledge of the George Washington bridge scandal.
This knowledge has given the public plenty of ammunition towards Governor Christie. Former political associate David Wildstein claims to have documents that prove Christie’s knowledge of the multiple closed lanes that caused extreme traffic congestion for days. The Governor was attending the event to hand off the Super Bowl to Arizona, who host’s next year’s big game.
This marks the second time this month Christie has been publicly booed, following the Super Bowl Kick-off party in New Jersey at the beginning of the week.
What’s a football related affair without a little booing, anyways?
