Remember back in 2005, when we all gawked at that one pair of blue jeans that magically fit Blake Lively, America Ferrera, Alexis Bledel, and Amber Tamblyn?
Remember how exciting it was when there was a sequel in 2008? Well, the jeans are making a comeback in the upcoming (in development) movie, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants: Sister Everlasting. This is the fifth and final novel in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series, and the third and final screen adaption.
The new Sisterhood movie sends us ten years in the future only to find that the girls have grown apart, so they reunite on a girls’ trip that will “change their lives forever.”
Alloy Entertainment has already hired writer Liz Garcia to adapt Ann Brashares’ novel; and Ken Kwapis, the original director, to direct this last installment. There is no word on whether the same cast will return or not, but, according to America Ferrera, she knows “that the four of us would love [to make another film], and it would be wonderful.”
