The Grammy Awards are in less than a month, and today the committee released the first batch of names of performers for music’s biggest night.
Madonna previously confirmed that she will be performing, thanks to a cryptic tweet. There is some speculation though that the Queen of Pop will be opening the star-studded event.
Ariana Grande, who is nominated for 2 awards, will be performing as well. Joining her as performers are Grammy winner Ed Sheeran (who is up for 3 awards) and country star Eric Church who is nominated for 4 awards.
The most exciting news is that rock gods AC/DC will be performing on the show as well! Surprisingly, in their 42-year career, the legends have won only one Grammy, which came in 2010 for War Machine.
The telecast will see Grande, Church and AC/DC perform for the first time ever on the Grammy stage, and we can’t wait!
The 57th Grammy Awards will be aired on CBS on February 8th.
Who are you looking forward to seeing perform the most? Is there a performer who really shouldn’t be there, or maybe one that got a snub? Let us know what you think!
