STOP READING IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE SPOILED ABOUT 'GREY'S ANATOMY'
Once "Grey's Anatomy" hit the air back in 2008, star Patrick Dempsey was hailed as Dr. McDreamy and fans adored the chemistry between him and actress Ellen Pompeo, who plays title character Meredith Grey.
Well, all of that could change tonight
While Patrick's character Derek was sent to D.C. back in November, it appears following tonight, it will be the end of him. Patrick and Pompeo each signed contract deals that would see them continue through to the end of season 12. According to a report
from Entertainment Weekly, the newest article was released to US subscribers ahead of the episode airing.
Patrick has already filmed his character's death scene, which takes place in tonight's episode. No other cast members were on hand for the filming of the scene, with sources adding that creator Shonda Rhimes had enough of Patrick's behavior. If you'll recall, Rhimes has had her share over the years with former stars Isaiah Washington and Katherine Heigl.
Dempsey's character has only been seen on the canvas for minor appearances since leaving, and it's now being reported the reason was because Shonda suspended him.
It would be a HUGE blow to the show as they're still dealing with the departure of star Sandra Oh.
Shonda nor Patrick NOR ABC have spoken out about these claims, but stay tuned.....
Or just watch tonight. And see what happens.
