American pop star Greyson Chance has released his latest single, “Thrilla in Manila,” via Soundcloud. Chance is a talented singer, songwriter and pianist who first made waves on the music scene in 2010 with his brilliant performance of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” at a sixth-grade music festival. That video has been viewed over 52 million times on YouTube as of August 2014. “Thrilla in Manila” is a a catchy, upbeat track that showcases Chance's smooth vocal style. The song references and pays homage to the infamous 1975 boxing match between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier at the Araneta Coliseum in Manila, Philippines. Chance had the opportunity to perform at the Araneta Coliseum in 2012 when he was on tour in Southeast Asia. Chance is currently working with a team of international writers and producers to record his sophomore studio album, Planet X, which is slated for release later this year.
