G.R.L. suffered the loss of a member earlier this year, when Simone Battle committed suicide, putting an end to her life. As it seems, the girlband did not break up after her death and is going strong. In fact, there's a brand-new single coming from them soon, inspired by their former friend and bandmate. It turns out the ladies have been working under everyone's noses with Dr. Luke for a while now. A brand-new track of theirs, entitled "Lighthouse," is going to serve as their next single, and was inspired by Simone Battle's death. The tune comes out of a session with Luke and Cirkut, while G.R.L. will reportedly drop it in its entirety in about a month. During a recent interview with the producers, the fans got to listen to a long snippet of the song. "Lighthouse" finds G.R.L. trying what seems to be a midtempo beat with beautiful lyrics, but an anthemic production to go by. The clip of the song is long enough to give a proper first impression of it and if we can judge it in spite of the poor quality of the recording, it's going to be amazing. Take a listen to it for yourself below.
