If you have ever asked yourself “whatever happened to the boy from Sixth Sense?” we have the answer: he was recently cast for the Entourage movie. That’s right: former child star Haley Joel Osment landed a supporting role on the cinematic adaptation of the hit HBO series Entourage. Joining him are Jeremy Piven, Billy Bob Thornton, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, and Jerry Ferrara along with other original cast members. There's no word yet who Osment's character will be. The film is produced by Mark Walhberg and Rob Weiss, with Ellin and Rob Weiss in charge of the screenplay, and Doug Ellin directing. Osment recently finished production on Kevin Smith’s comedy Tusk, to be released this fall, and co-starred in the miniseries The Spoils of Babylon alongside Will Ferrell, Tobey Maguire, and Kristen Wiig; he can currently be seen in Amazon Studio’s Alpha House with John Goodman. Osment’s film credits also include Forrest Gump (as young Forrest), Pay it Forward, and A.I. Artificial Intelligence. While there is no release date yet, filming for Entourage has begun.
