After being completed in 2011 and debuting at the San Francisco Asian American Film Festival last year, White Frog starring; ‘Glee’ actor Harry Shum Jr, ‘Twilight’s’ Booboo Stewart, and ‘Teen Wolf’s’ Tyler Posey has been scheduled for limited release on May 10th in the US.
The film focuses on a high school freshman, Nick (played by Booboo Stewart) who has Asperger’s Syndrome, a form of Autism. His world is soon shattered when the death of his older brother Chaz (played by Harry Shum Jr.). Nick soon finds himself befriending his brother’s friends, leading them to ‘adopt’ him. After spending time with them, he learns more about his brother’s hidden fears along with learning about his aspirations and dreams. Nick thought he was in a close knit family, but it seems he didn’t know his brother as well as he thought he did!
