Staff Writer @MovieUnchainedWhether you are a fan of anime or not, Hayao Miyazaki is incredibly influential on cinema. His films Castle In The Sky, Spirited Away, and The Wind Rises are all incredibly influential films, and the latter two broke through at the Academy Awards, with Spirited Away also winning Miyazaki an Oscar. However, the world of film was shocked to hear Miyazaki was retiring, and that his legendary production company, Studio Ghibli, might possibly be closing its doors (which was proved to be false last week). However, there might be hope, as Toshio Suzuki (a legendary Ghibli producer) claimed there is a chance Miyazaki isn't done for good. Suzuki spoke about how it is likely Miyazaki will make something short, most likely for the Ghibli Museum in Tokyo, a museum that showcases the work of the legendary studio. We only can hope that Miyazaki doesn't retire completely just yet, as he is a visionary talent whom we so badly need in the world of filmmaking. Keep Up With PopWrapped On The Web!
