Exposed to numerous artists throughout the 2000’s thanks to YouTube, Heremotionss, real name Sam Daniels, is a 23-year-old alternative pop artist with a wide range of influences spanning several genres including rock, pop, R&B and alternative. Today, PopWrapped are delighted to premiere her new single “I Remember When (Hold On).”
As a song-writer, she reflects on memories and events from her own life, bringing a personal, more intimate touch to every track she creates and shares with the world. “It’s an incredible, raw process and I love every second of writing songs,” she says. “Every song I make comes from the core of my heart.” Her new single is very much a classic ‘the one that got away story’. It’s a power ballad reminiscent of past releases from Lana Del Rey, Avril Lavigne and Taylor Swift. “I love how beautiful ‘I Remember When (Hold On)’ is,” Heremotionss comments. “I love how melodic the song is and has a great story behind it that showcases a delicate feeling of being in love, and loss.
