Here’s Some New Details About ‘Finding Dory’

‘Finding Dory’ might not be arriving before summer 2016, but some brand-new details have now been revealed regarding the setting and the story.

There is no possibility that you were a kid in the 00’s and haven’t watched Finding Nemo. Everyone’s favorite childhood film is receiving a sequel in Finding Dory and some new details regarding the upcoming movie have come to light.

Jim Morris, Pixar’s current president, has gone and revealed all the new information about Finding Dory. According to him, the Marine Biology Institute of California will serve as one of the settings, along with the ocean. Taking place six months after the first film, the story will find all three of the starring fish living together, with Dory following Nemo in one of his school’s excursions on a random day. As she starts remembering things, they all soon get into finding her family along with new pals! An octopus, sea lions and a beluga whale are just a few of them. In addition to that the Institue will serve as Dory’s first home.

It’s only normal to assume that Dory, voiced by Ellen Degeneres, will most likely visit the Institue of California in order to find her parents, going on yet another adventure. Eugene Levy and Diane Keaton will give voices to her parents, Charlie and Jenny. Modern Family‘s Ty Burrell will be lending his voice to Bailey, a beluga whale.

Finding Dory is scheduled to hit theaters on June 17, 2016.
