Eleven years have passed since the final episode of Nickelodeon’s Hey Arnold! aired in 2004. And now, Nickelodeon is producing a TV movie that will pick up right where the series left off–including answering questions that were left unanswered after the show’s eight-year run.
Yes, this means that we will finally learn once and for all what happened to Arnold’s parents.
According to Nickelodeon, this new chapter of Hey Arnold! is just one of the many ways the studio is reviving its classic ’90s content. The announcement of the TV movie comes just after Nickelodeon’s launch of The Splat, which began airing classic programming in early October.
While the air date for the new Hey Arnold! movie is still unknown, we can expect to see much more in ’90s revival coming from Nickelodeon in the near future.
