We’re a week away from the curtain rising on the first of Darren Criss’ sell out Listen Up tour. When the tour was announced back in April, Criss revealed he’d be doing a one-off free concert in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Fans have eagerly wondered how the lucky few (1800 of them) would be able to score tickets to this gig. Today Sonic Lunch organisers have revealed exactly that.
To gain entry into the Michigan Theater, fans will need to get a hold of a wristband (or #crissbands for use on Twitter and Instagram). 1,000 of these will be distributed on the day before the show – that is WEDNESDAY 12TH JUNE. These will be available for collection at a number of surprise locations around Washtenaw County. To find out where and when they will be available, you need to check out Sonic Lunch’s Facebook page, theirTwitter feed, website or join their mailing list as announcements will be made through these for a throughout the day. Announcements may also be made on the radio station 107one.
If you don’t get tickets on the 12th, don’t fret. 800 wristbands will be available the day of the concert for those who line up at the Michigan Theater. Due to Michigan curfew laws, fans are not allowed to line up before 6am. If you show up before then, you will be turned away.
Important line information:
Each person in the line will be given a wrist band that is placed on their wrists. Therefore you CANNOT hold a spot in the line for a friend or family member. Everyone in your party must be present. Organisers will not hand out wrist bands for people who will be joining you later.
After getting your wrist band to guarantee entry you need to be lined up at the Theater by 10:45am when doors will open. They cannot guarantee seating after 11:00am.
Order of the day:
10:45am Door open
11:30am Theo Katzman set
12:00pm Darren Criss and band
