After confirmation that The Hulk won't be appearing in Marvel's upcoming Captain America: Civil War, there may have been a break in the clouds of no-Hulk-news. Reports say that our big green friend might be appearing alongside Asgardians in Thor: Ragnarok.
Hypable reports that Ragnarok will be taking place on a distant planet far away from Asgard and Earth, and we will likely see the Hulk with Thor, Loki (disguised as Odin, as you might remember), and Lady Sif and the Warriors Three.
No actual plot details have been released for the film, so I imagine this news is all speculation at this point. The suggestion is that this planet could be Planet Hulk (or serve as a Planet Hulk-analogue, anyway), as that story has been the most mentioned when discussing the possibility of another stand-alone Hulk film.
It has been recently confirmed that Taika Waititi will be directing Ragnarok. I haven't had reason to question any of Marvel's directing choices so far, and I won't be starting now!
Thor: Ragnarok will be hitting cinemas in November 2017. That's a long time to wait for news on how the big guy is doing. What do you think of the possibility of seeing him alongside Thor? Let me know in the comments!
