It’s true that everyone’s favorite English duo HURTS have been quiet for a while now. However, that has finally changed, as Theo Hutchcraft and Adam Anderson have made their return to the scene with a brand-new single! The track is titled “Some Kind Of Heaven” and it now has a music video to go by.

The Jonas Quant-crafted track serves as the right comeback tune for HURTS at this point. Packed with their signature dramatic strings and an incredibly catchy hook, the lovesong finds Theo singing his heart out on the track. “Some Kind Of Heaven” manages to be extremely anthemic and radio-friendly, but in the addictive way that HURTS originally got us used to. The Chino Moya-directed clip is visually stunning, as the duo takes us to some kind of vintage 60′s-70′s inspired cocktail party at some mansion. Well of course there’s a twist, but you’ll have to figure that out on your own.

“Some Kind Of Heaven” serves as the very first offering to be lifted from HURTS’ forthcoming, third studio album, Surrender. The record is expected to drop on October 9 and will be a follow-up to 2013′s fascinating Exile. Reportedly, they’ve been working on it with Jonas Quant, Stuart Price and Ariel Rechtshaid.
