American Idol fans, you’re going to be waiting even longer to hear the full length album from last year’s winner, Candice Glover.
Now, for the second time, Glover has pushed back the release date on her debut album.
According to Digital Spy, “Music Speaks was originally due out in July, shortly after her season 12 triumph in May, but the release was changed to October.” And, now, the Idol winner is saying it won’t be until February of next year before you can purchase the album; this makes her the first Idol winner not to release an album the same year they won the competition.
“I know it’s taking a bit longer than expected to get my album out, but I have been working hard in the studio with some amazing people and I want to get it just right for you guys,” Glover said.
She’s working with producers who have worked with Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Chris Brown, so let’s hope all this waiting pays off.
