Iggy Azalea Fires Back At Eminem For Rape Lyrics

Eminem made some rape comments about Iggy Azalea in one of his latest rap verses and the rapstress wasn’t happy about it, sharing her views on Twitter.

Things seem to be pretty heated between new rap sensation, Iggy Azalea and last decade’s best-selling rapper (and artist, in general), Eminem. The latter made sure he mentioned the lady in one of his brand-new songs and she found it offensive enough to go on and discuss the situation on Twitter.

Eminem is preparing to release his Shady Records compilation album, ShadyXV, in a couple of days. In one of the new tunes called “Vegas”, he raps: “You’re lucky just to follow my ride/ If I let you run alongside the Humvee, unless you’re Nicki/ Grab you by the wrist, let’s ski/ So, what’s it gon’ be?/ Put that shit away, Iggy/ You gon’ blow that rape whistle on me”. Iggy Azalea didn’t like the abusive comments and made sure she made her opinion on the matter public. Take a look at her tweets.

It’s a good thing that Iggy Azalea stands up against his lyrics to support what she believes, but it’s doubtful that it will get her anywhere. Eminem has after all made rape comments on female celebrities once and again, being especially obsessive with Britney Spears in the past. All the rapstress can hope for is that the situation won’t be the same, ’cause back in the day, he only stopped making use of the pop princess’ name in offensive lyrics after several tunes were released.
