‘Indiana Jones’ 5 Is Happening With Harrison Ford And Steven Spielberg!

Disney has confirmed that they are preparing the release of a fifth Indiana Jones, and series star Harrison Ford and director Steven Spielberg are returning

Disney confirmed some big news this week, and that news is about the hottest history teacher to ever walk the Earth while carrying a whip.  Yes, we’re referring to Indiana Jones.  Disney has set a release date for the series’ anticipated fifth film on July 19, 2019, and acclaimed director Steven Spielberg will direct once again.

Now, we know some of you are unsure of this news because Indian Jones and the Crystal Skull was not a roaring success, but we think you should have a little faith that this film will be good.  Disney Studios Chairman Alan Horn said, “It’s rare to have such a perfect combination of director, producers, actor, and role, and we couldn’t be more excited to embark on this adventure with Harrison and Steven.”  They did amazing things with Star Wars, so why not Indiana Jones too?

According to Deadline, George Lucas will not be involved with this Indiana Jones picture. We currently have zero casting news except for Harrison Ford in the lead role; though, he is admittedly the most important role.  Will Shia Lebeouf reprise his role?  Will they get Chris Pratt to join Ford on an adventure, as Spielberg had expressed interest in him in the past?  We’ll have to wait and find out!

The Indiana Jones films have always done well in the box office, and hopefully with Ford’s recent performance as Han Solo doubters will be excited to see him back in the role.  We actually liked Crystal Skull until the very end when it got just a little bit strange for an Indiana Jones film, so this is great news!

What do you think of a fifth Indiana Jones film starring Harrison Ford?  Did his recent appearance as Han Solo bring back your faith in him as an action star?  Do you hope Chris Pratt gets to join in the fun?  We know one thing, they better not kill this iconic character, too, because that would be just too much.
