Instagram is on a roll, ladies and gentlemen. First there was the implementation of their video feature, now there’s this: iOS users can snap photos and record video in landscape instead of just vertical orientation for the first time, reports DIgitalSpy.
Cool? I think so. An obvious update? I think so too. Still, it’s nice to have this option finally.
As one would expect, many Instagram users have complained about the lack of a landscape option. Even though the photo sharing app offers many style choices, users were eager to be able take pictures this way.
Now, holding an iPhone on its side will change orientation of photos and the menu. The change has yet to be applied to Android.
With version 4.0.2, users will have bug fixes, and cinema mode to use the front-facing camera.
