Looks like Apple may have a dry spell coming their way.
The company is drastically reducing the number of iPhone 5C produced due to poor sales. The daily production has gone from 300,000 daily units to barely 150,000, as reported by C Technology.
The phone was allegedly been considered by Apple for developing countries, but with an actual sale price so close in range to the price of the iPhone 5 and 5S in several retailers, things don’t look that good. In fact, the price has been an important factor in the lack of interest in the iPhone 5C, as stated by consumers in several forums.
The difficulty in finding a target or core market in a world where Apple is not cutting edge anymore has also had its part in it.
On the other hand, just last month Apple had to increase the production of the golden iPhone 5S after seeing strong demand. This version initially had limited in-store and online supplies, but turned out to be popular among consumers.
