After we found out that one of the things Madonna featured in her MDNA Tour was a striptease (sometimes even she showing her boobs), we knew that this 55-year-old lost it.
But Madonna doesn’t stop shocking us. In an interview for Harper’s Bazaar in December 2011, Madonna revealed, amongst other things, that she refuses to shave, and that she had hairy armpits, even as a young girl.
She details her experience as an usual high schooler during the interview as well. “Going to high school, I saw how popular girls had to behave to get the boys. I knew I couldn’t fit into that. So I decided to do the opposite,”
Madonna goes on to explain her relationship with boys at such an age, as well as the trials of being a somewhat “different” young lady,
“Straight men did not find me attractive. I think they were scared of me because I was different. I’ve always asked, ‘Why? Why do I have to do that? Why do I have to look this way? Why do I have to dress this way? Why do I have to behave this way?’”
Two years and three months later, Madonna shocks us yet again. The legendary pop diva posted a picture of herself wearing a corset and a bow tie, with her right arm held up, revealing a hairy armpit. Its caption was: “Long hair…… Don’t Care!!!!!! #artforfreedom #rebelheart #revolutionoflove”.
Commentary on this picture was quite diverse. Some just stated that it’s gross, others just offered a standard “lol”, and certain responders speculated that it might be fake (for example: “Her hair should be black!!! Next time you should glue a mustache”).
