Actress Elizabeth Hurley took to Twitter today to dispel rumors that she has had an affair with former President, Bill Clinton. Website Radar Online published the report earlier today which alleged Hurley had a year-long affair with the Commander in Chief. She posted a response to the article from her Twitter account today saying: Radar Online, however, claims to have an audio tape of Hurley's ex boyfriend, actor Tom Sizemore, telling a story about the affair. On the tape, Sizemore allegedly tells a friend that Clinton asked, "Did you go with Liz Hurley for four years? Do you still see her?" This allegedly occurred when Sizemore was at the White House for a film premiere. Sizemore goes on to say that Clinton asked for Hurley's number and when Sizemore wouldn't give it to him, he got very angry. After allegedly being pushed on the matter by Clinton, Sizemore goes on to say that he gave the President her phone number and Clinton sent a plane to get her that night. Sizemore also said that Hurley and the former President slept together that night for the first time and carried on an affair for a year. In a twist, however, Sizemore appeared on HuffPost Live today and said, though he told the story, the actions in the story didn't really happen: "I've never met former President Clinton, I've never known him to know Ms. Hurley." Though Sizemore is reportedly sober today and has been since 2009, at the time that recording was made, he references his drug use and says, "My perceptions were not the greatest." “I’m not denying I said these things,” said Sizemore, “I don’t remember saying these things.” What had threatened to be a massive political scandal has turned out, fortunately for both Bill Clinton and Elizabeth Hurley, to be nothing of substance. Hopefully, all parties concerned will now be able to move on from the situation.
