@hkdaglish "Let It Go" has rapidly become something of a Disney anthem, a powerful song that for once, is not about falling in love, but about accepting who you are, which, in Elsa's case, is a super powerful ice queen. The internet has become littered by cover versions of the song, but none have been more successful or powerful than the phenomenal collaboration between Utah's One Voice Children's Choir and Nigerian  singer and actor Alex Boyé. This Africanized version of the song keeps the beauty of the original through an incredible vocal, but the added impact of Boyé's voice, the tribal drums and the choir transforms the song into something even more powerful. The video even keeps in the Frozen theme, complete with snow and ice and even an Elsa-like transformation for the main vocalist, Lexi Walker. Not even a teenager yet, Walker's vocal is arguably every bit as strong as Idina Menzel's original. Despite having only been performing for a year, the youngster has a talent so great, she is surely set for big things. Since discovering this version, I've finally switched off the Frozen soundtrack that I've been playing non-stop for weeks and replaced it with this cover on repeat. With 13 million views already on YouTube, there's clearly a lot of people feeling the same way. Check out the video below, and if you're not smiling by the end of it... watch it again.
