Looks like Superman has become bored protecting the citizens of Metropolis and has moved to Sheffield, United Kingdom!!!!!
Luke Junior, who works as a security guard in a local shopping mall, was raising money for his local community when a shoplifter was seen fleeing a frozen food store. The 24 year old leapt into action and caught the thief; he then made a citizen’s arrest and kept the man until the police arrived. A DJ, who was playing in a local store, played the Superman theme as the locals cheered.
Speaking to The Sheffield Star, Luke who is training to be a fire fighter said of the incident; “The last thing you want to do is run straight into Superman. He was going nowhere but the police station.
“The two policewomen were very professional. They didn’t even crack a smile, but everyone else was cheering and clapping, then the Superman music came on. I went back to the children and, as Superman would, I told them to always stay on the right side of the law. I’ve not lived it down since.”
Junior regularly wears the £500 costume to raise money for Sheffield’s Hospital Charity and children with cancer.
