The Colombian superstar showcases some soccer skills on top of her usual sultry dance moves in the video for “La La La,” a track featured on the official album for the 2014 FIFA World Cup called “One Rhythm, One Love.”
Brazilian singer Carlinhos Brown joins her on “La La La”, which is actually a re-worked version of her song “Dare.” The suitably internationally-flavored video also features dancers, drummers, elephants, tigers, and of course, soccer players, including Neymar, Lionel Messi, and Radamel Falcao. Shakira’s young son Milan also toddles his way on to the set to provide the cuteness factor.
In addition to promoting world unity through music, dance, sports, and skimpy clothing, the video is also helping children in need. The clip was produced by yogurt maker Activia as part of a campaign to support the UN’s World Food Programme which provides school meals for underprivileged children.
