Jake Lloyd Arrested For Reckless Driving

Actor Jake Lloyd, who played young Anakin Skywalker in the Star Wars prequel, was arrested in South Carolina after a high speed chase.

Maybe he thought he was pod racing.

The other charges were for failing to stop, reckless driving, driving without a license, and resisting arrest.  Lloyd also lied to the police, telling them his name was Jake Broadbent once they finally got him.  He was driving 95 mph before finally sliding off the side of the road.

Lloyd remains in jail as of Sunday, and has not posted bail.  Looks like trouble for the 26 year old actor.  I hope he has a good reason for acting this way and isn’t turning into another troubled child star in Hollywood.  In 2012 he revealed he was bullied after appearing in the Star Wars film so he hasn’t had it easy.
