Looks like the identical twin brothers known as Jedward (John and Edeward) are making use of their Free Spirit as two grown-ups. The pair is probably best known for their appearance on The X-Factor, but they have also competed for Ireland in the Eurovision song contest a few years back.

They stuck to their home genre of pop music, with catchy, easy-listen-to songs. The big change with their latest offering is that John and Edward were completely involved in the creation of the music, from writing the songs to producing the whole thing independently. (It might have led to some terrible hair-loss, though, as their crazy high mohawks seem to have disappeared!)

The first single to be released from the album is the title-track “Free Spirit.” Be on the look out for the album when it drops on May 17th, just under a month away!

When asked about the album, John had this to say,

“Each song reflects a different mood and emotion, which our fans can associate with. Over the last year we have gone through a transition as artists, we have had time to reflect about life and put those thoughts into our songs.”

Until we get a chance to hear new music from Jedward, let’s reminisce with their video for the song “P.O.V.”

Jedward fans, are you excited for the brothers to come back with their own music or do you think that they would have done better to their covers and old habits?
