Teen Mom 2 protagonist Jenelle Evans was no stranger to hardship. She has battled abandonment, abuse, and addiction. Her former fiancés were either careless or convicted, and their drama dragged Jenelle Evans down.
The television series showed the young mom in an unfortunate state. She was either buzzed, stressed, or depressed. When she began using heroin, her life went downhill. Cameras captured her highs (and lows), and the scenes caused a stir. Fans criticized her decisions, and her own mother judged her, too.
Due to Jenelle Evans's chaotic lifestyle, she lost custody of her firstborn, Jace. She was gutted, and her grief almost swallowed her whole. However, she continued the fight. Eventually, she overcame her issues.
After she gave birth to her second son, Kaiser, her priorities changed. She left her alcoholic ex, and she pursued her personal and professional goals. As she cared for her toddler, she never gave up hope. One day, she would find an amazing man. One day, she would regain guardianship of Jace.
While her dream of regaining guardianship is still waiting on a court date, her other dream came true.
In 2015, she met David Eason. His broad stature and big eyes captivated the reality star. When they went on a date, his personality hooked her.
"I feel like I'm with a man now, not a boy. He's really good with the kids ... He has a job. He's financially stable and emotionally stable, and he's a great support system for me, and I need that in my life," Jenelle Evans tells Us Weekly.
Even though he struggled with his past, the lovers shared a kinship. Their relationship grew stronger by the day, and then they dropped a bombshell. They were pregnant. However, she also had a miscarriage prior to her pregnancy.
"I guess [it was] a miscarriage the month before I even got pregnant," she relays to Us Weekly. It was heartbreaking news. As she grieved her baby's passing, she was gifted with an angel -- Ensley Jolie.
The world was shocked, but she and David Eason were ecstatic. The months flew by, and they welcomed their little girl on January 24, 2017. But their fairy-tale family is not yet complete. They are still waiting on their prince: Jace.
