At PopWrapped, we are always looking at new music and with the constant flow of music that comes our way, we tend to get lost in the crazy amount of releases that get put out. However, this passed week, a stunning track with a great message came on shuffle and honestly, I have been feeling all of the emotions since the first listen.
Unlike most of what we hear today, “Beautifully Unbroken” has a very orchestral feel that pairs beautifully with Jennifer’s resounding vocals. The instrumentation in this haunting ballad consists of only keys, horn, flute, and a slight bassline. All these elements are exquisitely arranged together and provide a soul-stirring sensory experience to the listener.
She commands the listeners’ full, undivided attention as she sings of recovering and regaining strength after facing obstacles in life. The song carries the important message that it’s okay to be broken, but we should not give up on ourselves. We can always build something new that is “beautifully unbroken”. Immediately after listening, you’re left with a deep feeling of optimism and positivity.
Jennifer’s raw, enchanting vocals are the centerpiece to this arrangement. The emotion that pours from her voice will leave the listener with no choice but to be completely mesmerized. “Beautifully Unbroken” is one of our favorite releases this year and we are already ready to see what is next for Jennifer.
