Early last year, news of Jennifer Lopez’s television comeback started floating around on the web. NBC had then given a straight-to-series order for the pilot of a cop drama starring the multi-talented diva and the time has finally come for it to go on air.NBC has officially announced that its brand-new show Shades Of Blue will be landing on the small screen on Thursday, January 14, 2016, with a 2-hour premiere starting at 9pm. The following week it will move to its regular timeslot, starting at 10pm, as it will be replacing the network’s newly canceled The Player. Jennifer Lopez herself made the announcement on her social media, by sharing the very first promotional poster for the show as well, which goes by the slogan “Between good cop and bad cop, there are... Shades Of Blue revolves around Harlee Santos (Jennifer Lopez), a Brooklyn detective and single mother who works with some not so by-the-book cops, before the FBI catch her in action and have her spy on her co-workers for them. However, her FBI handler, Warren Kole’s Special Agent Stahl, eventually starts obsessing over her and yet she has to keep doing what she does to provide for her daughter.
