Once-teen-heartthrob Jesse McCartney is back and he’s bad –“Superbad” that is, and that's how he likes his women, too. On Monday the singer released a new music video illustrating his relationship with a “Superbad” girl. Instead of diving into the pop song right away, the video starts with a voice over from McCartney: “This is me driving home from Las Vegas on a Sunday afternoon,” the singer says while driving a vintage convertible. “You’ll notice I have a friend in the passenger seat. Her name is Giselle.” McCartney goes on to explain that she’d taken him for $150,000 during a poker game. "She said, ‘You can pay me now, or I’ll let you take me shopping in the new car you’re going to buy me,’” explains the singer. Obviously, McCartney opted for the latter, wanting to spend more time with the thrill-seeking beauty. “A woman that bad, you would’ve done the same thing,” says McCartney. The music video then turns into an impromptu fashion show at the singer’s house, McCartney crooning “Superbad” while Giselle models her new clothes. The single has a repetitive pop melody, reminiscent of 70s disco music. The song’s infectious rhythm and funky sound are unexpected and enjoyable. McCartney’s fifth album will be released sometime this spring, flowing the release of the EP In Technicolor: Part 1 and “Superbad.” [embed]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xHd_-i9VHY[/embed] What do you think about “Superbad”?
