Netflix has had huge success with their brand of original series' and Jessica Jones is no exception. The Marvel superhero show has been given the greenlight for season two! So far, everyone included in the very successful first season will be back for round two though no premier date has been set. The news broke via Netflix at the Television Critic's Association Press Tour (TCA).
The show will return as 13 episodes once more which is really the best length for a show to be. Shows that are down in the 10-13 episode range are always the best at story telling because they have no need for random filler episodes which take away from the main story arc. We can't wait to have Krysten Ritter to return as superhero Jessica Jones! Today will be a huge day for Netflix related news. The streaming service released a Tweet today as well of some premier dates for our favorite shows. Check it out!

The first season followed Jessica Jones as she packs up her superhero lifestyle and becomes a Private Investigator with super strength. Jones is an anti-superhero, superhero. The show also starred David Tennant (Doctor Who), Rachael Taylor (Grey's Anatomy), Carrie Ann Moss (The Matrix and Chuck), and Eka Darville (The Originals and Empire). We hope to see as many of the first season cast members return as possible and look forward to the next part of Jessica Jones' story.
