A former 90210 star will be traveling to a different area code and city: New York City.
Jessica Stroup has signed on to become a series regular on Kevin Bacon’s FOX drama, The Following.
The former Erin Silver will portray Max, Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon)’s niece.
Like her uncle, Max is in law-enforcement but instead of working in the Federal Bureau of Investigation, she works as an undercover cop for the New York Police Department at Intel.
But Stroup is not the only newcomer that will be on the show this year.
Entertainment Weekly and the Daily Siftings Herald have reported that former NYPD Blue alum James McDaniel will portray an FBI agent while Homeland actress Valerie Cruz will play one of Max’s co-workers, and Dexter’s Sam Underwood would be a villain during the show’s sophomore season.
The Following will return to FOX this January!
