X-Factor success story and chart-topping boyband, JLS will end this year with their farewell tour. Not before announcing a collaboration project with the Beach Boys.
JLS announced earlier this year that they would be going their separate ways after their third, and final, arena tour this year. Marvin Humes of the successful boyband said, “It’s an emotional time. There’s no getting away from that. We have been through so much together. But we have to be mature and look at this decision as a celebration of what we managed to achieve.”
The collaboration with the original boyband, the Beach Boys, came to be after the two bands met at the British Summer Time in Hyde Park event last month. A source told Metro, “Bruce said the Beach Boys are the original boyband but JLS are the boyband of the moment.” The insider added, “He suggested they work together and Marvin said ‘yes’.”
Details of the project have not yet been released.
