A source has told The Daily News that taping for Joan Rivers’ Fashion Police on E! network, scheduled to take place during New York Fashion Week, has been cancelled.
Doctors are expected to assess the extent of the damage to Joan Rivers’ brain Tuesday after bringing her out of a medically induced coma.
The renowned 81-year-old comedienne remained on life-support and in serious condition on Monday at Mount Siani Hospital.
There has been a rush of kind words and support from fellow comedians, friends, and loved ones. “Sending love, love and more love to Joan,” actress Jane Lynch tweeted. And Barry Manilow also took to twitter saying: “This isn’t funny. Please wake up. Promise I’ll be your piano player again! For nothing, again!”

A source close to the family told The News that doctors began bringing Rivers’ out the medically induced coma Sunday evening and expect to be able to assess her brain function Tuesday.
Melissa Rivers, her only child, has asked that friends and fans alike pray for a miracle. “We are keeping our fingers crossed,” Melissa said Sunday.
We’re sending both love and prayer to Joan and her family.
