In what has already been an amazing year for Beatles’ fans, the next slice of nostalgia will come in the form of an auction that will include the works of the late John Lennon.
Taking place on June 4, the “You Might Well Arsk” sale will include both writings and drawings that Lennon worked on in the 1960s. Among the works being sold are “In His Own Write” and “A Spaniard in the Works.”
According to the Huffington Post, one item, “The Singularge Experience of Miss Anne Duffield,” is currently being estimated to sell for between $40,000 to $60,000. In addition, Lennon had also made a drawing of a guitar player with four eyes which is expected to be sold for a large sum.
The items are being sold by Tom Maschler who collaborated with Lennon on several of the pieces. The auction will take place 34 years after Lennon’s assassination in 1980.
Further information on the auction can be found here.
