Not only does Joss Whedon write about people saving the day, well it turns out he doesn't mind saving the day himself every once in a while. According to a new interview in SFX Magazine  with Alan Taylor - the director of Thor: The Dark World -  Whedon showed up just in time to save the scene! "Joss came in to save our lives a couple of times. We had a major scene that was not working on the page at all in London, and he basically got airlifted in, like a SWAT team or something. He came down, rewrote the scene, and before he got back to his plane I sort of grabbed him and said, 'And this scene and this scene?' And he rewrote two other scenes that I thought had problems," said Taylor (Comic Book Movies). It certainly sounds very superhero-esque of Whedon, doesn't it? Taylor continued, "Then finally we let go of him, he took off again, and we shot the scenes; and they were just much better and much lighter on their feet. Much more fun, much more surprising than what we had been trying to do. I can relate to guys who come out of the TV world, since that's where I come from. And being able to land and work and solve a problem quickly... I really was grateful." The next Whedon project you can expect fans to gawk over is Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. which premiers September 24 on ABC (CTV for Canadians). After that we can expect that Whedon will be hard at work working on the script for The Avengers: Age of Ultron which is scheduled to be released on May of 2015. Until then we have the sequel Thor: The Dark World hitting theatres on November 8, where we will see our favourite Norse God Thor and the insanely popular Loki reunite once more. http://www.Twitter.com/PopWrapped http://www.PopWrapped.Tumblr.com/ http://www.SoundCloud.com/PopWrapped http://www.Facebook.com/PopWrapped http://www.Instagram.com/PopWrapped http://www.Pinterest.com/PopWrapped http://www.YouTube.com/PopWrapped http://www.PopWrapped.Wordpress.com/ http://www.PopWrapped.com
