It may be just under a year away but Christmas 2014 is looking more and more appealing! Forget the January blues, because ABC have confirmed the beloved Toy Story stars are returning for their very first Christmas special, Toy Story That Time Forgot. The TV feature will follow the gang at a post-Christmas play date, when a group of action figures turns out to be “dangerously delusional”, reports Variety.

Produced by Galyn Susman and directed by Steve Purcell, cast reuniting for the short movie include everyone’s favourite cowboy Woody (Tom Hanks), alongside Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), Jessie (Joan Cusack), Mr. Potato Head (Don Rickles), Rex (Wallace Shawn), Reptillus Maximus (Kevin McKidd), Trixie (Kristen Schaal), and Mr. Pricklepants (Timothy Dalton).

Pixar holiday shorts seem to be becoming a regular occurrence for ABC, who scored a healthy 10.5 million viewers with this past Halloween’s Toy Story of Terror!

Despite Disney refuting speculation last year, is a Toy Story 4 looking more and more likely? Only time will tell!
