Attention Carrie fans, if you can’t wait the two weeks until the film’s released, a new teaser clip has appeared to give you a little bit of relief.
In the clip, Margaret White (Julianne Moore), Carrie’s mother locks Carrie (Chloe Grace Moretz) in her closet to pray.

Those knowledgeable of the Stephen King novel or any of its previous film adaptations will know that this scene, from early on in the story, is where we get our first glimpse into the world of the White household. The deeply religious nature of Margaret White and the beginnings of Carrie’s telekinetic powers.
Directed by Kimberly Peirce, Carrie stars Julianne Moore, Chloe Grace Morentz, Judy Greer, Portia Doubleday, Alex Russell, Gabriella Wilde and Ansel Elgort.
Carrie opens in theaters across the US on October 18, Australia on November 14 and the UK on November 29.
