Justin Bieber is returning to L.A. with manager Scooter Braun, E! News reports.

The teen pop star was in Panama for a few days to relax after his arrest for a DUI and drag racing in Miami last week.

A source confirmed to E! that “Justin is doing OK right now”, and isn’t letting all the negative media attention get him down. “He’s with friends and family. That’s what is most important now, being surrounded by family, and his closest friends.”

A different source added that Bieber’s mom, Pattie Mallette, is coping the best she can given the recent circumstances: “Pattie is being a mom, putting her son’s best interests first, whatever that means at any time. There are things being said all over, but she is with him when he needs her and will always be there for him. She would never do anything to bring harm to him.”

As we previously reported, mentor Usher and manager Braun joined Bieber in Panama over the weekend, hopefully offering some constructive criticism.

While rushing through the airport, Bieber flashed a smirk towards photographers.

One thing is for sure–Justin Bieber doesn’t seem to be taking any of this seriously.
