It looks like another Kardashian boyfriend is facing criminal charges. Lately the entertainment news has been filled with Lamar Odom’s, husband of Khloe Kardashian, criminal charges and cheating scandals but now it’s time for Kanye West to face the law.

The Grammy Award winning artist has been charged with criminal battery and attempted grand theft over allegedly attacking paparazzo Daniel Ramos on July 19 at Los Angeles International Airport, according to TMZ.

The rapper, upon his arrival at LAX Airport, allegedly told the overly enthusiastic photographer not to ask him any questions. After his request was ignored, he was later filmed reportedly fighting with the Ramos as he continued to probe Kanye.

Paramedics were called to the scene immediately following the alleged incident. Ramos’s attorney reported that he was apparently badly injured and had to receive treatment in hospital. quotes a source who said at the time, “Daniel is a very sweet guy — he’s not aggressive. You can see by the video that when Kanye attacked him, Daniel was about 10 feet back and wasn’t getting in Kanye’s face. The questions weren’t rude — he even complimented Kanye and was telling him he’s a great guy. It makes you wonder what is going on with Kanye to make him so angry.”

At the time of the incident Ramos held a press conference in which he said: “I was just trying to do my job. I am speaking out today because I don’t want what happened to me to ever happen to anyone else.”

Kanye, who is a new father to baby North West, could face a maximum of one year in jail if convicted of both misdemeanors. We can only imagine the effects this could have on his home life with girlfriend Kim Kardashian.

He will be arraigned on October 10.
