Popwrapped last spoke with indie music queen Kat Robichaud back in January when she had just completed her first album post NBC's The Voice. She was excited about the release of the album, the direction that her music was heading in, and she couldn't wait to get on the road and start touring. And if it's one thing that Kat constantly delivers, it's the fact that her music (and style) are unlike anyone else in the record industry.
To quote a line from her new single ''Why Do You Love Me Now?'', Kat certainly 'marches to the beat of her drummer'. This exclusive music video was shot in one single continuous take, and it was inspired by the movie Carrie. It's a poignant video, where she is front and center with a cast of characters around her who are slowly mocking her. How many times in our lives do we have people who only love us when we're up, but abandon us when we're down? How many times do we pretend that people care about us when we know that they don't? Kat Robichaud certainly gets it, and that's one reason among many why you all need to check out this video!
