Katy sat down recently with Elle Canada to promote her latest smash hit, “Roar”. During the interview she made a couple of super intriguing comments about her gal pal Rihanna and her supposed cannabis use.

“I think that Rihanna always looks so fresh and I’m like, ‘How do you do that? We all know how much pot you smoke!’,” Katy joked.

“And you don’t sleep because you’re on Instagram at four o’clock in the morning!”

Thankfully the jibes were friendly – we don’t want any more pop star feuds this week!

The “Teenage Dream” icon also shared some health and beauty tips, highlighting the importance of regular breaks.

“I had to find that balance,” she admitted. “But I learned this thing called Transcendental Meditation, which I do as much as I possibly can. It’s 20 minutes and you’re supposed to do it twice a day, but I only do it once every other day. But anyway, it works.”

Katy also laughed off the idea of a daily workout routine, “People say you should work out 30 minutes a day – none of us works out 30 minutes a day!”

Whatever she’s doing to keep herself in shape, it’s working! “Roar” is currently enjoying its second week at the top of the UK singles chart and has sold 103,000 copies this week alone.
