Kanye West is always one for shock and awe.
This being said, today’s news still managed to surprise us. It has been confirmed that he’ll be collaborating with someone extremely unexpected on the remix of his single “Black Skinhead.”
Who is it, you ask? Well, none other than Miley Cyrus.
Yes, it seems the two notoriously outrageous artists connected shortly after Miley’s infamous VMAs performance. Kanye told Cyrus that he “understood” the performance, giving the former Disney starlet his full support. The official remix of “Black Skinhead” is produced by Mike Will Made It.
His new single, “23,” features Cyrus. Mike Will Made It also executive produced Cyrus’ upcoming album Bangerz. The producer told Rap Fix that he hit the studio right away with Yeezy and Miley.
"We went right back to work," Williams said. "It’s about done, just touching the beat up a little bit. It sound crazy too."
We would expect nothing less from a collaboration between those two.
Along with that exciting (or, at the very least, intriguing) news came a video of Kanye West doing what he’s best at other than rapping: complaining. It seems the superstar may have had a little bit too much to drink at the launch party for rapper Pusha T’s latest album.
West decided to “let loose” and unleashed a diatribe detailing how he feels about artists he deems are sellouts.
West said: "I don’t give a f—k about these corporations and these sellouts, we make good music, we make good music. We don’t give a f—k about how much god d—n money you make, we make good music!"
Tell us how you really feel, Kanye!
Other subjects that fell victim to Kanye’s ire included camo print clothing and shirts with numbers on the back.
