From the hunky hulk of the Cullen clan to the loin-cloth wearing jungle king; Kellan Lutz is the new voice of Tarzan.
In the new animated feature from Constantin Film, Lutz takes on the lead role in a story that follows a young Tarzan as a child when he was lost and rescued by the apes, to a grown man fighting off a major corporation trying to harvest a power energy source from his home, according to Digital Spy.
Alongside Kellan, Tarzan will also feature Spencer Locke (Resident Evil’s K-Mart) and Jaime Ray Newman (Drop Dead Diva).
Back in 1999, Disney’s animated feature of Tarzan, featured the voice talents of Tony Goldywn (Tarzan), Minnie Driver (Jane) as well as Glenn Close and Rosie O’Donnell. That film also went on to win a Golden Globe and Academy Award for the Phil Collin’s original song, “You’ll Be In My Heart.”
