It's evident that Marvel has a lot in store for the next few years as they begin to enter “Phase 2,” and producer Kevin Feige dished out a few details of what’s in store for the Marvel universe. Currently, Thor: The Dark World is nearing its October 30 UK release and November 8 US release, while Captain America: Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy are soon to follow. In an interview with Digital Spy, Feige relished over the production of Guardians of the Galaxy for getting to expose an exciting yet unfamiliar team to audiences. “We find ourselves in a place we like being, which is - most people have never heard of Guardians of the Galaxy,” Feige said in the interview. “It's a team-based film. There's a human, there's a green person, there's a raccoon, there's a tree… That excites us a lot because we love to exceed expectations.” Feige also hinted at what to expect from 2015’s Avengers 2: Age of Ultron, which is now entering its pre-production stage. “Avengers 2 is going to be very global, much more global than the first film,” he revealed. “I don't want to say exactly what cities but there's going to be some globe-trotting in the next Avengers film.” Production talk of Ant-Man, Marvel’s longest in-the-works-movie, was discussed in the interview as well. “It has been in development longer than any other project in the history of Marvel Studios. It’s been almost eight years… and everything happens when it should, so we’re excited about where it’s headed.” What are you most excited about in "Phase 2?" Let us know!
