Internet history was made on May 27 as Spotify updated its list to include YouTube sensation Kina Grannis’ “The Fire” onto its much-acclaimed “Today’s Top Hits” playlist. Grannis is widely regarded as a YouTube star with seven years’ experience and nearly 1 million subscribers on the service to back it up. She’s the first YouTube-birthed indie artist to really crack into the popular streaming service in such a groundbreaking way, hence the whole making history deal! “The Fire” is Kina’s first single from off of her latest album, Elements, which was released earlier this month to massive applause . You can check out the official lyric video to “The Fire” in all of its low-key, though heated, passion below, and don’t forget to give all of Elements a try while you’re at it!
