After 22 years of marriage, stars of Keeping Up With The Kardashians Bruce and Kris Jenner have separated.
Following months of rumours circling the state of their relationship, the couple told E! Online, “We are living separately and we are much happier this way”. The pair, who are parents together to Kendall and Kylie, added, “But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority”.
The Kardashian/Jenner clan consists of ten kids in total, with both Bruce and Kris having four children from previous marriages, all of which have appeared in the current season of their popular E! reality show. This series has so far seen Bruce move into a rented Malibu home, as well as many arguments over how little influence the former Olympic decathlete has in the family.
In June of this year, Khloe Kardashian Odom told Jay Leno on The Tonight Show that, “They’re not having problems, but they still like to live apart, which is definitely different”.
As well as this, Kris celebrated the couple’s 22nd anniversary on Instagram earlier in 2013, and late last year shut down divorce rumours, saying, “We just laugh it off. We love each other and just laugh about it… These kind of stories have been circulating for the last couple of years”. In the past few weeks however, the ‘mom-ager’ has been seen not wearing her wedding ring.
