In this age of social media, wherein we share a portion of our lives to people on the internet, it is understandable that comments and opinions will be given back.
Particularly if you are famous and have thousands, even millions of followers.
And posting picture of your kids can sometimes invite a horde of so-called parenting experts who have decided that they know what is best for your children by judging pictures you have posted.
Reality star and actress Kristin Cavallari was recently subjected to one of these and has hit back at criticism that her sons are too skinny.
“Yep, I starve my children,” she wrote on Instagram. “Just blocked the most people I’ve ever blocked in my entire life. Happy 4th hahaha.”
This came about, when on July 4th, she innocently posted a picture of her sons, three year old Camden Jack and two year old Jaxon Wyatt enjoying time at the beach. The two boys were shirtless, wearing matching shorts, and had their back to the cameras. Their father, Bears quarterback Jay Cutler stood to the side his face not shown. Kristin captioned it with: “Even though we’re not in the states, were still celebrating hope everyone has a fun and safe 4th!”

But keen eyed nitpickers began pointing out that the kids may be too skinny. Many of her followers had responded in her defense that it may not be appropriate to comment on her kids’ weight.
Cavallari is known for her healthy eating habits and recipes. In her book Balancing in Heels: My Journey to Health, Happiness, and Making it All Work, Cavallari had said that she has gotten rid of genetically modified organisms from her diet.
Kristin Cavallari and Bears quarterback, Jay Cutler have been married since June 2013. They have three children together, aside from the two boys they also have a daughter, Saylor James who is seven months old.
